Are you thinking about your plans for the summer this year? And interested in working with young people and supporting them to make a difference in their local community?

Seaosnal rolesWell, we're looking for passionate and dedicated people to lead, motivate and inspire young people on our National Citizen Service (NCS) programme this summer.

NCS is a government-funded programme that brings together 15-17 year olds from a diverse range of backgrounds to make a difference in their community. Young people get the chance to meet new people, make lifelong friends and gain new skills for their CV.

Last year we mentored, challenged and inspired over 38,000 young people on their NCS journey. Our 2017 programme will be the largest yet and will require the motivation and support of over 5,500 seasonal staff to bring the programme to life and ensure its lasting impact. We have paid positions available for all entry levels, from those wishing to gain further experience in a youth work setting, to experienced Project Managers, Teachers and Youth Workers.

You can read about working on NCS from one of our 2016 programme leaders on The Guardian website here, and take this fun quiz to find out which sort of role might suit you best.
