Associate Mentors

The Associate Mentor role is open to grads who have completed the ‘Challenge with Distinction’ award and whose summer mentors agree would be great role models for future participants in The Challenge.

What does an Associate Mentor do?

Most importantly, Associate Mentors help a team through the Real Challenge a year after they do it themselves. They join the Senior Mentor and Project Volunteer to help a team choose, plan and carry out a project to bring a neighbourhood together. Along the way, they strengthen their leadership, communication and project skills while gaining experience valued by employers and admissions tutors.

In preparation for that summer role, the Associate Mentor receives a day of free training alongside the Project Volunteer.
