About the role

The staffing department will recruit around 5000  leaders, mentors, practitioners and other staff to work on the NCS with The Challenge spring, summer and autumn programmes in 2017.

The Delivery Staffing Associate is responsible for assisting the staffing team with seasonal staff allocations, training , relationship management and compliance checking for all NCS 2017 summer programmes.

The Delivery Staffing Associate primary responsibilities will be:

Assessment Responsible for set and facilitation of assessments of seasonal staff.

Communication Responsible for relationship management with candidates and liaising to ensure clear communication between all seasonal staff and the local staffing team.

Compliance Responsible for ensuring that candidates are compliant with The Challenge’s safeguarding and safer recruitment policies i.e. supporting candidates to complete DBS checks and references.

Training Responsible for booking seasonal staff into training events, managing attendance numbers and ensuring that staff get all relevant information in time for the training.

Salary:  £20,000 Leeds

Weekend work and occasional evening working will be required. Time off in lieu will be provided.
