Why join us

The Challenge is the UK’s leading charity for building a more integrated society.

Employing over 700 staff across London, Manchester, Preston, Leeds, Reading, Epsom and Birmingham, we work on a local and national level to bring together people of all ages, ethnicities and walks of life. We recognise that people are key to our success and look for diverse staff who are determined to make a difference.

We are the largest provider of NCS (National Citizen Service), a government-funded programme that brings 15-17 year olds from different backgrounds together for adventure activities, skills learning, and news friendships. We also run HeadStart, a programme that offers young people free training and guaranteed job interviews in exchange for eight hours of volunteering in their local community.

We truly believe that stronger, more trusting communities are at the heart of successful, thriving societies, and that we all have a part to play in building them.
