The Social Integration Commission has published its first report, ‘How integrated is modern Britain?’. Co-funded by The Challenge and British Gas, the Commission is a major independent national enquiry into key questions related to the UK’s increasing diversity.

The report shares findings from the Commission’s first phase of research, showing how integrated we are as a nation along the lines of age, ethnicity and social grade.

The Commission will also release further reports, which will explore the social and economic impact of a lack of social integration and make practical recommendations for those who wish to increase levels of social integration within their spheres of influence.

A copy of the report can be found on the Commission website, which also includes links to the media coverage of our research findings.  Whilst there, you can also take our quick online quiz to see how typically integrated people with the same characteristics as you are.

We welcome your thoughts, so please sign up for updates on the Commission’s work and keep in touch with us via Facebook and Twitter.
