You took up The Challenge. Now take on life’s ongoing challenges with the support of The Challenge Society, a free and exciting range of events, activities and opportunities for Challenge graduates and friends.

Through The Challenge Society graduates will be offered the chance to get back together, along with further opportunities:

Personal development

  • Exclusive access to work experience placements
  • Professional workshops in CV writing, interviewing, money management
  • Participation or leadership in the programmes of partner charities
  • Introduction to apprenticeship and development programmes
  • Shadowing business or community leaders
  • Taking part in The Challenge sets you apart from the crowd. Want to know how to talk about in job interviews and on your CV? Find out more

Make a commitment to your community

  • Form a Youth Action Team: get new funding and mentor support from The Challenge to design and carry out a 6 month project that will make a difference in your local area.
  • Volunteer with an organisation of your choice
  • Reunite with friends and mentors at regular Big Challenge days

Get involved in marketing and media

  • Be a Challenge Ambassador and let others in your school know about The Challenge
  • Represent young people and The Challenge Network in the media. This year Challenge graduates featured in The Big Issue interviewing Michelle Obama, live on BBC radio!

Be a part of The Challenge next summer

  • Inspire a new wave of Challengers as an Associate Mentor
  • Help with selection of Senior Mentors before the programme begins
