On Saturday 21st April, over 100 Challenge graduates were part of a conference entitled ‘Enfuse London’ which took place at London South Bank University. 140 young people aged 14-19 joined forces with business professionals and leaders in other fields in a bid to take practical steps towards helping to reduce youth unemployment. The conference was organised by Enfuse Youth in collaboration with The Challenge Network.

On Wednesday 15th February, graduates joined local councillors, charities and community groups at The View Tube, located near the Olympic Park for the official launch of The Challenge in East London. For the first time this year, 675 school leavers in the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest will have the opportunity to take part in The Challenge.

Earlier this year, we received funding from Heathrow Community Fund (part of BAA Communities Trust) to enable young people from Hillingdon, Ealing and Hounslow to take part in our programmes. In addition to funding, staff have also played a number of active roles in our summer programme.
