NCS is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to try new activities, meet new people, challenge yourself, build skills for work and life, and contribute to your local community
Are you 15-17 and looking for your next adventure?
HeadStart is the natural extension to the NCS experience that challenges you to complete 16 hours or more of volunteering. In return, you get access to skills, a guaranteed job interview and the opportunity of meeting different people.
Are you 16-19 and looking for your next challenge?
HeadStart Action uses social action and employer encounters to support and inspire young people aged 14-18 years who are at risk of becoming not in education, employment or training (NEET).
This year The Challenge has been commissioned by the Department for Education (DfE) to deliver a year-long programme in partnership with the Association of Colleges (AoC) to give direct intensive support to post-16 education providers.
The Young Refugee project builds on the existing HeadStart model working with local organisations to build the skills of young refugees and help them into future employment.
